The Community of Jesus is a Roman Catholic Community, led by Professor Matteo Calisi, with a three-fold ministry of worship, reconciliation of Christians and evangelism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2010 , with the blessing and approval of the Vatican, it joyfully embraced an Anglican Expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Anglican Expression is led by Abp. Sean and his wife Gill, who come from a traditional Anglican Jurisdiction. They made their Community promises before Bishop Mario Paciello in Bari.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Community of Jesus Anglican Expression is based in Woking, United Kingdom and lives out the Community\u2019s ministry within an Anglican context. This includes meetings centred around Anglican Evening Prayer or Holy Communion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We seek to encourage the different parts of the Body of Christ to discover and walk together, through the fostering of friendships, informal meetings and wider gatherings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We participate in the wider work of the Community of Jesus, sharing in different dioceses around Bari during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, speaking at \u201cKairos\u201d gatherings both in Italy and the USA and at events organised by other groups and parishes working for unity and reconciliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
